So we finally finished decorating our class yesterday, and it looks rather neat. Footprints on the corridor and stuff like that. In the afternoon there was quite a lot of people in our class and singing and doing random stuff.
I did try singing, but I think I might not be good at it. Just saying.
Will be going to the science centre next Friday for an astro thingy talk lecture whatever it is. About dark matter. Or energy. I don't know.
The PE teacher makes Mr. Selva look like a sunflower in comparison. She's like, quoting one of my classmates, "I shall torture you all and compliment you so that you don't hate me completely."
Still doing my english homwork. Wonder how many year 1s joined astro. And if any of them are "normal". Not that anyone in this school is, anyway.
I'm not normal either, I'm a bit unhinged. If your definition of unhinged is giggling to yourself and talking to yourself when noone's looking. And making jokes that only you understand. And drinking a lot of coffee.

Astronomy is being shifted to 4-6 pm. Well, this is annoying, to say the least.
I mean, seriously, why? Whoever's suggesting this had better have a good reason, or else...
No assembly today. Whee. Doing english reading portfolio right now. Not that hard to do, but tedious.
Brought some chewing gum to school today. Don't tell anyone. Chewing gum's not even allowed in school. During chinese lesson the teacher didn't come today so quite a lot of people were doing other stuff besides chinese. Tian Qi kept on saying random sexually explicit stuff. I was rather annoyed. And couldn't stop laughing. Which was more annoying. I wonder if Javier's going to get nightmares tonight.
Got my graphing calculator last Thursday. You may have seen 9gag posts where you can play Pokemon on them. It is true, but I'll have to downgrade the operating system and I don't want to do that. But it's good. It can graph and do all kinds of calculations. And it's in colour. Woots.
During mentoring today we decorated the classroom. Not really actually. We just made the decorations. We haven't put them up yet.

CCA fair

First week of school is over. Had a CCA fair today for all the new students (they get to learn more about the CCAs).
Had PE today. Teacher made us do a lot of strenuous stuff. My abs cramped. And I grew a cm taller over the holidays. Still 44 kg though.
CCA fair was alright. The new student's didn't come out of the hall until 5.10 pm, so there was a lot of time to prepare. Gave out sweets. Astronomy is not desperate for membership, so we didn't hand out brochures. All the other CCAs were on the 4th floor yelling out join their CCAs lol. I hope some new people join Astro. Would be rather nice.

Monday went quite nicely. Friend had a birthday. Gave presents. Whee. (Needs more coffee.)
Playing Doctor Who game. Saving the world/universe/timestream is so fun. :D
Not much homework today. Chemistry is a little complicated, what with organic compounds but physics is looking a lot like last last year's. And in biology we get to work with plants. :D (Not sure why. I always thought plants were boring. Except for those that ate insects. Wonder if we get to handle those?)
1 week into 2013. Hope it's been good for all of your reading this. If not, you still have ~51 weeks to rectify the situation.
Need to write chinese sui bi. Urgh.
Year 1 on the schoolbus beat me at chopsticks. Not surprising. I suck at that game. :D Year 1s are so fun loving. And nice. :D And cute :D (Oh god stop it you idiot.)

FUZZY PINK LLAMAS!

A lot of things happened today.
1. Tagball before the start of external activities. I sort of forgot the reason behind it, but it probably wasn't a good one.
2. External activities. We went to U-town and did some tasks. Then they asked us to come up with a class cheer. We didn't have one, so we made one. Which is where the fuzzy pink llamas come in. Our class cheer is kind of silly, and we went around singing it, until the whole level heard it.

Orientation was alright. CW takes the same schoolbus as I do now. Interesting. I knew he lived in Woodlands, but I thought his parents ferried him. Oh well. Year 1s are year 2s now. And there are new year 1s in their place. They look like a fine bunch. My cousin's had his first day of secondary school. Although I can't quite picture him in NUSH uniform. (He's in Hwa Chong.)
206 has Mrs Fernandez (biology teacher) as their mentor. I'm quite glad. Mrs Fernandez will make a good mentor. And 206 should be a fine class. Not to mention she's the best biology teacher we've had. And she said to 206 that they don't want to see her mad. Not that we did. (Which is probably a good thing.)
We have a new level head. Orientation started with the principal's address, then there was this short video for the newcomers explaining the school and what to do. I was rather pissed with the "tuck out your polo shirt" bit. WILL EVERYONE STOP TELLING ME TO TUCK OUT?! IT"S GETTING ON MY NERVES!
So I'm in 303. Along with quite a few 204 people. There is a new guy in our class, he's from China. Name's Shuqi. Seems like a nice guy. Tianqi and Melvin are in our class too. Whee. This will be fun. Mentor asked us to share our saddest and happiest moments of 2012, and our New Year's Resolution.
Then we had the first house meeting of the year, then we started learning the mass dance. It's alright actually.
