30/7/13

So a friend just asked me to join project SUGAR. I don't know. It takes place in the first week of June next year. Which seems to be when the most important astronomy competition is held. If I go, I'll leave behind Glen, Javier, Jovan and Wayne, but Jovan could just pop off to Germany at the same time while all the seniors go to CERN, and then we're all screwed. On the other hand, I get to educate kids about HIV/AIDS. And have fun in Vietnam.
The truth is I'm more inclined towards staying in Singapore, mostly because I really don't know what is going to make me help those kids, and also because I'm much more at ease in competitions. And anyway, we're all going to be doing our school proud, so I suppose there really isn't much of a difference. At least I have 1 month to decide.

28/7/13

So today I went for Glen's birthday party. It was rather nice. There was a lot of chocolate involved. I didn't take any pictures though. Anyway we had chocolate cake, chocolate truffles and chocolate ice cream, all of which tasted nice. I like their chocolate. It's the really dark kind. I also got a cappuccino. AND THEY HAD SUGAR CUBES DO YOU KNOW HOW RARE THOSE THINGS ARE? And then everyone was eating sugar cubes. And then everyone was throwing around a packet of mints for no apparent reason. Afterwards we went to Subway because it's really not nice to have just chocolate for lunch. Just saying. It was quite fun. Happy birthday Glen!
Finished half of my Da Vinci commentary. It's not too difficult if you understand the article.

25/7/13

So today we had english. Nothing much. Oh yes there is a chemistry online assignment and also the economics assignment and the math tutorial. Damn they sure gave a lot of homework this week. Da Vinci commentary is due next week and so is the english reading portfolio. The letter to the editor is due tomorrow, but I finished that, so good for me. I also have to help out for the DSA camp thingy on Saturday. I'm in registration.
Apparently the reason they banned us from using chemical reactions for our projectile launcher is because the last time  someone did that, the projectile launcher ended up in Nan Hua High. Yep.

Wednesday 24 July 2013

24/7/13

So today we had Da Vinci and it was alright but a bit boring. And also the DSA student helpers briefing. I'm in Registration.

Oh god what?! Ah nevermind but that is going to be the one book I'll ever be writing in for a long time if I ever have it. Or maybe I could make one myself. YES I WILL MAKE ONE MYSELF AND FINISH IT ON MY BIRTHDAY AND IT WILL BE THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER!
I am so ihgh right now.

Monday 22 July 2013

22/7/13

There's chinese listening comprehension tomorrow. Should be alright. My hearing is quite alright (despite what my friends think). At least I get to skip some classes XD. Besides that, there's also the physics projectile launcher thingy due date. I hope we can at least clear the barrier. Landing in one of the squares would be welcome too.

OH YES AND KATE IS STILL CURRENTLY GIVING BIRTH SO HOPEFULLY BY TOMORROW I WILL HAVE A VERY GOOD REASON TO ACT LIKE A TOTAL BRITISH RETARD AND PARTY REALLY HARD.

And in other news, the wife of our math teacher has given birth. Congratulations Mrs. Ku.

Saturday 20 July 2013

20/7/13

So we went to Sungei Buloh today. Apparently there are crocodiles there, but I didn't see any. There weren't much birds there either. They hadn't started migrating here yet. The only things interesting in the mangrove were the native birds. Which were rather hard to spot. Everything except the crabs were hard to spot.

Also, Da Vinci review thingymajig has started. I put physics as my first choice. The article is readable actually. I understand what they're saying, not the equations and the constants. But then there's always google. Astronomy ended early yesterday. So I got home early and slept a bit more, which was ok. Probably should go to sleep now.

Friday 19 July 2013

19/7/13

So there was no overnight today. Jovan was so disappointed. Anyway Sean Pek taught us about galaxiees and the Hubble Tuning Fork diagram. Glen slept through most of it. Anyway he just asked us to identify 60 galaxies.

Went and test run the launcher today. The ball kept on shooting to the right, so I changed how I released it and it works fine now. Which is a good thing. Anyway we have another one of those marine biology trips tomorrow to Sungei Buloh. Wonder what we'll see there. Hope I don't get distracted by the birds.

Had a physics practical today. Screwed it up by giving the average reading instead of the time difference. We still managed to finish it though. Quite a few projects they gave us this week. There's economics, chinese and chemistry (which was last week but whatever).

A Long story based on Physics Projects

The Long (pun intended) life of Mr Projectile Launcher

It all started with 3 pieces of paper.
The instructions were, briefly, build a projectile launcher, that can, using a squash ball, cross a barrier of 80cm and hit four squares, approximately 80<----???))) located outside the Design and Engineering lab. Several teams thought they were up to the challenge, and gladly accepted it. (Actually, they didn’t have a choice)

However, it turned out to be no meager task, for many complications were met. One of these teams, were employees of Long Shen Corporation or Public Unlimited or whatever. Anyway, they were tasked to accomplish these tasks better than the rest, and so they set out to do just that. Even more amazing, it seems that rumors were spreading that even Long Shen himself was in this group. Of course, no one had any means to prove this, because few people have faced The Supreme Leader and still be able to provide a reliable description.

So we focus our story on this group. They initially tried numerous methods, which slowly reduced themselves to mere silliness, but 2 ideas stood out. (Theres a chinese proverb for this... Just like there is for everything.) The wheel launcher and the spring, AKA the penis and the-launcher-that-I-can’t-bloody-operate-right.

They eventually gathered while Udella Industries (guys is this OK?) was burning palm trees and various plants in an attempt to stop them, but they proceeded unhazed-- I mean, unfazed. They sought out supplies and tools to assist them, and found such, mostly because they work for Long Shen and are almighty. Unfortunately, when assembling... The Penis, problems soon rose up. It appears that the designer cocked up when inserting a rod into its designated hole. The rod turned out to be too huge and stiff, so it was too tight a fit. What a pain in the butt... The huge rod stood erect while the designer stood in his crib, light shafting into the room forming long straight poles as they went. He shuddered in fear. If Long Shen heard of this, he would certainly..... “WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!” said Long Shen as he thrusted his long (eheheh triple meaning) finger at him. “I’m sorry Sir, I made a mis--” “MISTAKE???!!! HOW DARE YOU???” Long Shen ejaculated. “No, I can change, I swe-- AAAHHHH!!!” With the bat of an eyelid, the designer was forcefully ejected from... The Spire.

Really? Seriously? I let you post as me and this is the stuff you come up with? (No, shut up, no sick thoughts.)

Wednesday 17 July 2013

17/7/13

So today we had Da Vinci, which involved something about reviewing an article. I rather liked the physics one on blitzers, which basically work when a neutron star rotates so rapidly it bulges at its equator, which causes part of it to fall outside its schwarzschild radius, and hence it doesn't collapse into a black hole. Over time it loses energy as its spinning magnetic dipoles stimulate the surrounding electromagnetic field, Over time the rotation slows down, causing the equatorial bulge to subside and now the neutron star is inside its schwarzschild radius, and collapses into a black hole, losing its EM field as radio waves.

13/7/13

So we had the field trip today. It was alright I suppose, except that I just really didn't want to touch anything. Took some photographs. Woke up at 4.30 am, took a taxi to school and waited for everyone else. I also wore my hat. Unfortunately Glen Goh was not there, so he did not see it. Although someone might have taken a photograph so you could ask around. Not too many mosquitoes, so it wasn't that irritating, not o mention the fact every few minutes a plane would fly past, and Jovan would make explodey noises. There were sea anemones and crabs and sea urchins. Shoes got wet. Which was supposed to happen. The truth is I have this weird feeling everyone else enjoyed the trip more than I did. Either that or I'm just going a bit crazy. Probably because I got in bed at 12 midnight but only slept at 2 am. Whatever.

Doing physics assignment right now. It's ok.

Thursday 11 July 2013

11/7/13

So there's chinese oral tomorrow. Oh boy I am going to do badly for this. Ah well just keep talking (read: bulls***ting). Anyway on Saturday there's that tidal walk. Bringing 2 cameras along. And my jacket. And a hat. Hope it doesn't blow off. I'll just use blue tack.

Wednesday 10 July 2013

Some very good news

WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE TODAY THE FIRST 1/4 OF OUR FIRST STORY HAS BEEN MADE INTO A MOVIE. PROUDLY BROUGHT TO YOU BY LONG SHEN PTE LTD.

Basically June's the guy who does most of the yelling and Javier's the one with no hair. Wui Seng and Sean are currently not in this clip.

All rights reserved, while stocks last, batteries sold separately. Please do not use this clip to learn German.

Y U NO UNDERSTAND BRITISH HUMOUR?!

No seriously people why the hell won't you watch Doctor Who? It's a really great show, the actors are amazing and sexy as hell, the plots are extremely ridiculous (Time travel. Now shut up.), I nearly cried when Amy and Rory left (Oh, THAT'S JUST ME ISN'T IT?!) and I really like the Daleks. I mean, seriously how difficult is it to watch Doctor Who? I HAVE 4 SEASONS ON MY COMPUTER ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS ASK. AND I'LL GLADLY GIVE THEM TO YOU JUST SO I HAVE MORE TO TALK ABOUT THAN WHAT GOES ON IN SCHOOL. (No hard feelings Glen.) I mean, the show has everything you like. It's got really horrible people (Daleks, Cybermen, the Silence), really nice people (The Doctor, Clara, Amy, Rory, the Doctor again (we're talking about another regeneration here)), and the people that the Doctor usually saves at the end of the episode (Unless it's a fixed point in time. At which point the Doctor has a really weird look on his face, because he has to convince his companion that everyone else has to die and he can do nothing about it.)
OMFG KAREN GILLAN (Amy) WAS IN THAT EPISODE. And then the Doctor will always end up dying, but don't worry he regenerates and is back to saving the entire universe.
He occasionally does that with a water gun. Although most of the time he uses his sonic screwdriver, which has been proven to work.

So I'm probably finished with Doctor Who. Now to this show called The Thin Blue Line. It's not drama. It's got Rowan Atkinson in it how the hell could it be a drama? Basically it's just really funny. OH NOW I'M THE ONLY ONE LAUGHING?

10/7/13

My brother's iPod touch arrived today. He didn't get it from the shop because he wanted it to have 6 words engraved on it, font size uh... 5 maybe? Anyway it's red and apparently it's to show support for people suffering from AIDS.

Truth to be told I think it's just an iPod nano mega. Whee.
So today Sean has managed to animate the first part of the stories. Well, not exactly, he just put subtitles in a video of Hitler ranting. But it's a start. Not to mention it's hilarious. Expect to see it sometime soon. Unless Javier doesn't allow it.

Did my economics mindmap. It's rather compact. Chemistry tomorrow.

BECAUSE JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT WE'D STOPPED (OR WERE DEAD, OR MAYBE BOTH), HERE WE ARE AGAIN!

So in the last part of our epic saga, I kind of forgot what happened. (No that was not the story just ah whatever shut up whoever is reading this and continue reading)

So anyway when we last left off I promised to focus on the penguins. So here they are.
So right now Yi Jun was building another superweapon (not another one of his ties, thank god for that), and June had a plan to stop him, which had originally been proposed by Wui Seng (who wanted all the credit but because life hates him he never got any). So they would assault Yi Jun's top secret base in Berlin with explosive penguins, which would be shot out of Sean's robot's cannon penis. Because we wanted to bring that back too. Sorry about the resulting nightmares.

The only problem was that Seam had to rebuild his robot, which was taking quite some time, and since penguins are hardly hardliners it is rather hard to convince them to wear explosives, so June had to shove the explosives down their throat, which caused Wui Seng much distress. (I really wonder how he deals with it)

So the plan went horribly wrong again (it always has to, otherwise I'll never have anything to write about). The penguins suffered premature detonations, and blew everyone up. Not to mention the fact that Berlin doesn't have any penguins. That didn't make any sense. Ah whatever this is seriously lousy.

(BTW PEOPLE WE HAVE AN UPCOMING STORY* + MOVIE* TITLED <<THE RISE AND FALL OF 67>>)
* hopefully

Tuesday 9 July 2013

9/7/13

So apparently Wui Seng hasn't written on his blog for 5 days
Oh no! Is he dead?
Actually no
He is just busy doing nothing

KTHXBYE

Friday 5 July 2013

5/7/13

The beginnings of the new Guardian.. of Wui Seng's blog. (that sounded 10 times better in my head I swear)

HI WUI SENG AND JAVIER (If he still posts) GUESS WHO? (the fish are awesome)------------->

Anyway it seems many people in school like to watch Ray William Johnson's =3 show (Many people means Yi Jun, Sean, Chong Wen, Keene, Pei Hui, Luck Wei (if I did not imagine him there), and me.)

It's really funny, but now he's got this new system of 1 review and 5 episodes a week. I think this style of video is not as good as 1 per week, 3 reviews... Ah well.

That's all the time I have, thanks everyone for letting me post this, it was a great experience. Couldn't have done it without the (adjective) Wui Seng, the (adjective) Javier, and last but not least, the (adjective) (name).

I'll see you all soon!

No, there must be a unique ending... KTHXBYE is taken... Umm... Hmm...

Aha!

(obligatory unique ending style)

Thursday 4 July 2013

4/7/13

We have PE and physics tomorrow. Whee.
Anyway I finished the 1st chapter, so if you are fine with it you could read it.
We have CCA tomorrow. Hopefully it doesn't rain, I need to use a telescope. Haven't done that in a while. Probably will be a bit more relaxed. We've won all the competitions we could win. English reading portfolio is due tomorrow, but it's alright, I finished it already.

Oh yes, I'll be bringing my hat to school tomorrow. I just hope I don't give it away.

Wednesday 3 July 2013

3/7/13

So today we didn't have Da Vinci, and we filmed some more of our english project. Also, our mentor/chinese teacher is leaving for 2 months, (in the words of Chong Wen) to be taught by a teacher how to teach teachers to teach. So we're having some kind of event tomorrow during mentoring. Sean wants it to be a party. But he's Sean, so that's alright. Anyway our mentor for the next 2 months will be Ms. Yenny. I don't know who she is.
I think I have my wattpad stuff sorted out. Now I just need to finish the first chapter and then publish it and then work on the second chapter and hope everyone finds it alright.
Dad bought a new phone. It's a LG Optimus. It's big. I don't have a picture. Just google it. Chemistry tomorrow.

Monday 1 July 2013

1/7/13

So it's the first day of July, the first day of term 3, and the first day of semester 2. Whee.

So I was reading this story that a friend of mine wrote. That banging noise you may hear is me hitting my head out of slight embarrassment and the feeling you get when you see yourself mentioned in a story.
